This was my first Cars and Coffee show I went to, and I have to say its a little bit different from the other car shows I’ve been to. Its more like a car meet because its free but without the rice. There wasn’t the usual stanced imports, or JDMness that you see like at Weksos, or at First Class Fitment. In matter of fact there wasn’t many stanced cars, I was the only stanced VW in the meet; instead you see the rare exotics, high end cars, and classic cars. It felt like a show that for the mature crowd, or something you can go with your family.
Cars and coffee is every first Saturday of the month, and this would be the last show for 2012. The show starts at 8am till 10am so the locals can get parking when the shops open. I woke up a bit early (7am) to clean my car and drove to the show.
When I got there around 9am, I was shocked to see the amount of high ends cars. I saw Italian super cars, British cars, and classic cars. So nice, it was like the Pebble Beach Couture d’Elegance car show in California
There was also a lot of high powered cars, in matter of fact my ears are still ringing from all the cars revving. I thought my straight pipe was loud, but after hearing V8s and V10s mine sounded weak compare to those cars.
I only had my 50mm lens soo it was kinda hard to take some pics, since I had to back far away to get full car pics, but I tried my best and Im still learning my photography skills. My favorite car in the show was a boosted black Lamborghini Superleggera. If I ever win the Lotto or become super rich I will buy Lamborghini Superleggera, its my all time favorite car. I even told my my fiance that I want to rent a white Lamboghini as the wedding car haha.
This white Lambo was driven by a girl and it was loud!! She must be “sarap ng buhay” everyday. I noticed there were a lot of American muscle too. Im personally not into that type of cars but I do appreciate what they do and some dont just sound loud but are actually very fast.
German muscle was also in attendance too! I love Mercs, and I would like to own a AMG when I get older.
There were also some european classics too!
Air cooled German engineering, its interesting to see how old school VW and Porsche were similar back in the day.
Japanese muscle in full force
I saw this sticker and it reminded me me of the video game Wangan Midnight
Some of the few stanced cars out there
I know over exposed but still looks good…
It wasn’t just cars in attendance
Good day and it was nice to finally be able to attend cars and coffee. Looking forward to 2013!
