After a busy night in the ER, and zero hour of sleep, I went directly to IFO with couple of my Houston buddies. The drive to IFO was very nice, the weather was perfect, smooth roads, and I didnt feel sleepy at all. My friend’s front end rabbit gti looked really good while rolling down to IFO. Later the rest of the Natsukashi Garage crew from Austin came down.
We passed this amazing bridge too, the design is very european and something I didn’t expect to see in Houston. When we arrived, people where just coming in. Me and my friend registered our cars for the show for only 30 bucks (fairly cheap compared to other shows that charge $50.)
ITBs for dayyysss
Interesting engine bay
The show also had a drag and dyno competition. Definitely a lot of engine noise, tire smoke and burnt rubber.
Light em up
Rat rod style
IFO was great and perfect timing since the show wasn’t during the Texas hot summer. I saw a lot of different styles and interesting mods. Some were stance, all motor, boosted, JDM, etc. Later that day, friends and the Natsukashi Garage crew ate some delicious pizza at Star Pizza. After being full, everyone started feeling the effects of being awake for over 24hrs and we called it a day. The Austin peeps drove back to Austin and I hopped on a plane to the Philippines for vacation. Great way to end to day.
