This was the first auto show for this year that I attended too. Its not like car shows where you see modified cars but its a show were auto makers show their latest car models and inovations. The crowd is more family oriented and it reminded me when I was a little kid and would go with my brother and dad to the Austin auto shows.
BMW very fancy by using the Apple iPad to show info about their cars. The car show lasted for 5 days and I happen to go on the last day. Their were a lot of people checking out the cars and Im sure potential car buyers too, either for themselves or for their 16 yr old kid that just got their drivers license.
The new Audi TT RS was killing it, I would love to to see this car bagged on some BBS RS. This one of my favorite cars in the show.
The guy is dumbfounded
Lexus was showing some love to the tuner community.
This Scion IQ has one of the smallest engine I’ve ever seen
There were also some aftermarket companies at the show too.
Rear mounted turbo charger
Jeep was out giving rides to the crowd to show off their off road capability.
Other car makers were outside letting the crowd test drive their cars.
The Lamborghini Aventador, first time seeing this car in person and it is a very sexy car. Probably will be my last time to see this car again. These cars are soo rare and expensive. Whoever owns this car is very lucky and I envy the guys from Top Gear UK when they drove the Lamborghini Aventador.
The Houston Auto Show was great and I like seeing the new models come out. Im interested to see some of these cars modifie, and I would like to see if auto makers will ever make a “throwback” edition for some of cars. We’ll see next year what the Houston Auto Show will show!
