Sooo, I bought some Enkei RPF1 for my GTI for a really good deal…. The problem was the bolt pattern is 5×114.3. Now if you have a MK5 VW or Mercedes or Audi the bolt pattern is 5×112, unfortunately it wasn’t going to work out. But I had several options: I could get wobble bolts, or I could get the rims re drilled to 5×112, or I could buy adaptors. Wobble bolts are great because there are relatively cheap but i would need to bore out my rims in order for the wobble bolts to fit. My RPF1 is 17×9 et35 so i could have gotten my rims redrilled but I didnt because I wanted a more aggressive offset and stance. Which brings me to my adaptors…..

CCM 15
It’s that time of year again. Another CCM down. This time a few of the boys and I drove/rode to Houston to gather for CCM 15. The cool part this time was that we got to stay with big brother Vinson in his Houston diggs for the weekend. We tried to keep it nice and clean…. besides breaking his garage door and having Joseph pass out within the first few minutes. My non consumption of alcohol led me to be the first one to fall asleep and luckily not be held responsible for these travesties . This weekend marked my first big trip on my motorcycle (900+ miles in 3 days total) and I found out a lot of things about motorcycle riding including the frequent need for rest stops. On one of these such rest stops we even met a guy on the outskirts of Houston who turned out to be quite the character. After first rolling up in his 5.0 soft top he made Thaison and I stay there so he could go home and get his older Celica. We didn’t think much of it until he returned in a purple older gen celica (Thaison help me out here) which was completely gutted and swapped with a 4runner motor. Needless to say the car looked like a lot of fun, and the owner had tons of fun doing the only thing you’re required to do in rural America…. burnouts. Shortly, we made it down and stopped at Mai’s restaurant in down town Houston. Little did we know the place was all kinds of fancy and we were all under dressed ( me in a motorcycle jacket and Thaison’s ripped shorts didn’t help our case). The food however was great and we sure did eat it all. We left there and made it to Vinson’s house to get ready for the next day.

Status Symbol
Im here to do a review about my Status Seat. I actually found this seat on a craigslist ad, and the guy was originally selling 2 seats with the Status bracket and mk4 r32 seat rails for 1200$. Thats was a pretty good deal since the seat alone is worth 1000$. I was originally going to buy two but after talking to my fiance (she didn’t want non reclining seats on her side) and saving money for a wedding I decided to get one. So I txted the dude and i dr0ve to Austin to pick up the seat, later my boy Thaison picked up the 2nd seat. The owner told me there were many people that wanted to get it didnt buy it because they were to big. Im a slender guy and I would definitely say if your waist line is 34 or higher you will not fit. The seats were overall in very good condition. The black cloth faded a bit but no tears, or cracks. Just goes to show you how good the quality of build the seats are. Plus its American made so Im supporting the local business too! The carbon fiber weave is immaculate and beautiful!

Weksos Austin 2012
One of the biggest car shows was in Austin and Natsukashi Garage got to represent!! The show had alot of very top quality cars. There was a screening process months before the show started and I was glad I made it through. This was my first car show where my car was actually in it and what a better place than Weksos! Just a day before Weksos Branden and I almost got the Weksos curse! We were driving to burn gas, since you have to be 1/4 tank prior to getting in the show, and we almost got into a head on collision from stupid driver that was going too fast in the rain. Whew that was close and thank goodness no one was hurt. Anyways real glad I could be a part of Weksos with Natsukashi Garage and onto the pics!
Natsukashi garage

Tuesday Video Double
I was out of town last week visiting my home town of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Because of this absence I missed Tuesday Video day and must not provide two!
First is an update. For those of you who haven’t found out yet I got in a motorcycle accident yesterday. Luckily I am okay and my bike will be fixed, but because of this I miss my bike and already miss riding. Here is a sweet video about an awesome honda motorcycle
This next video is just a little dream of mine
Tuesday video!
Well, a little apologies to you all for not posting up CCM part 2 yet. It’s been a fast paced two weeks since I acquired a little something that requires some work. I’ll make sure to post on it later. This next video was one that really got me into the honda scene. This video was back before the stance movement when the main priority was having some awesome rare rims, and if you were into “looks” then you just slammed the poop out of your car. Flush wasn’t relevant yet, but sunk wheels were. I miss days like these, oh he nostalgia…..
On a side note this video is also what got me into blue scholars back in 08 and has changed my musical preference ever since. If you’ve never listened to Blue Scholars you need to because this duo is hands down one of the best in hip hop. Along with almost all other Seattle MC’s…. Common Market, Macklemore, etc.
Tuesday Video Time
I’m trying to make sure we have great content all the time, so now on Tuesdays I will try to post a video of mine that I absolutely love. Some may be old, some new. It’s a surprise every time.
p.s. I am still going to post part 2 of CCM14 so hold tight!
This video really got me interested into the EK body style. The fact that I could make this type of power and still have a car that clean was baffling to me. Traditionally, the though of turbo was seeded in my mind, and one day I plan to do my own turbo build on at least one of my Honda’s. Happy Tuesday peeps and shout out to Team Rice for the inspiration.

The Sunday Ride
On Sunday I was invited out by my newly found friend Ethan to do some early morning riding through the hill country of Austin with him. I was luckily enough to meet Ethan at Woods where I recently bought my bike when I took the bike in for it’s first service. As it turns out the world is much smaller than it seems since when we soon got to talking I discovered his daughter lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand where my fathers side of the family is from. Long story short, after getting a chance to look at his amazing cbr1000rr and getting my bike serviced we agreed to ride out together.
The morning for me started at 8AM when I eagerly woke up to get my bike cleaned and presentable for today’s ride with some of Austin’s elite.
